“God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life, breath, and all things. And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; for in Him we live and move and have our being, . . .“ (Acts 17:24-28 NKJV)
China and its wicked and perverse operatives in high ranking positions in this nation will fail because they think this nation is blessed by a god made of flesh and bone. They don’t understand that the God who has blessed this nation is the Almighty God, the only true and living God, the Creator of heaven and earth:
- By His power, He spoke all things into existence in six ordinary days about 6,000 years ago.
- By the power of His word, He upholds all things; He gives to all living creatures, including all human beings, life and breath; man is entirely dependent on Him for life, liberty and salvation through His only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ – the only Savior of sinners; that is, all mankind.
- By the word of His command, He directs all things; according to His predetermined will for the good His redeemed people and His glory
- It is this powerful, Almighty God that rules over all nations to do His will; He rises up nations and He destroys nations at His command – nothing is done outside of His providential control
Through Christ’s death and resurrection, He has defeated evil and the evil one; He has conquered sin and wickedness; He rose up in victory over death, the friend of the evolutionist fool (Romans 1:18-23), so that the sting of death will be no more on the last day for all who belong to Him according to His eternal decree (1 Corinthians 15:54-57; Ephesians 13-14; 2:1-10)– all who by grace through true faith have embraced Jesus Christ, relying alone on His one atoning death on the cross for the forgiveness of sins, righteousness and salvation; putting their hope in Him for eternal life because He rose again from the dead.
It is this God who, “. . . now commands all men everywhere to repent, because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained [Jesus Christ]. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.” (Acts 17:30-31 NKJV)
Let us as a nation repent of our idolatry, or rebellion and turn the Almighty God who graciously forgives sin for the sake of His Son, Jesus Christ; who has (and will) defeat all our enemies both in the spiritual realm as well as on earth.
Jesus Christ Himself assures us that the gates of Hell will not prevail against the kingdom God and we know that the nation whose God is the Lord lords and King of kings will not be defeated by its enemies, whether it’s China, traitors from within this nation, or evil workers within many churches and denominations throughout the world. Therefore, repent and by faith come to the Lord and lords and King of kings for your salvation and serve Him alone to the glory of God!
May the God of all comfort bless you with the peace that passes all understanding through Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord in these turbulent times.
The sea may be raging from our perspective, but it’s a “sea of glass” from God’s perspective – remember that when your becomes troubled – all is calm with the Lord – He is the One in Whom you can trust! (Revelation 4:6)
