Democrat candidate for U.S. Senate Theresa Greenfield joined J.D. Scholten for a Facebook townhall of sorts earlier this week. Much of the discussion was what you’d expect. One of the questions asked was what issue(s) would Greenfield refuse to compromise on.
First, to the person who asked the question, great job. This question needs to be asked of every person running for elected office.
Greenfield did a lot of talking before actually answering the question, so we simply clipped her answer to save our readers a couple of minutes.
“So, are there things that I say heck no to? Well, I will always defend a woman’s right to make her own healthcare decisions. That is uncompromising to me.”
There’s a lot I want to say about this answer, but it would be best to do so in a column rather than a news piece.
