Tonight, the four candidates in the IA-Sen Democratic primary will hold their first debate, as the primary grows increasingly divided. While Chuck Schumer and D.C. Democrats have rallied around Theresa Greenfield, it’s clear to folks here in Iowa that Greenfield is altogether unprepared to lead.

Today, Team Joni launched a video series, “Theresa Greenfield: Unplugged and Unprepared,” that will highlight just how ignorant Greenfield is on the critical issues facing our country. In this first installment, Greenfield is asked whether the president is on the right track in Afghanistan with the agreement with the Taliban, and it’s clear Greenfield doesn’t have a clue:

“I’m not always clear as just an everyday Iowan, um, why, what and how. Um, but, as United States Senator I want to be clear. Um, so that I could speak up in favor or not in favor. Whether it’s, you know, whatever the locations are around the world.” Watch HERE.

In the middle of a global health crisis, the contrast couldn’t be more stark: Sen. Ernst, the first female combat veteran to serve in the U.S. Senate, has proven herself to be a relentless fighter and strong leader for Iowa. Meanwhile, the second Greenfield steps out of Schumer’s windowless basement, she doesn’t have a clue what she’s doing.
