Right now, we are living in a culture of decline. Everybody can see it. Drag queen story times, indoctrination in schools and biological confusion – the list goes on and on. Our society has replaced success with victimhood and truth with feelings.
How far back does this go? How did all of this start? To solve this, we must look back at human nature.
From the very start of mankind, people have struggled to maintain discipline and order against havoc and desire. History shows that societies that glorify their own self-interest often fall. Fallen civilizations like Rome show that a people who replace their discipline and moral virtue with self-pleasure and desire will inevitably collapse. If we, as a people, stray away from our Judeo-Christian values and plunge into the hell of self, the West will surely fall.
When we ask how we got to this moment, the answer is simple: humanity likes to play god. When we make ourselves our own god, we invent our own truth. There is no singular moment that brought us here. People have always tried to reinvent truth; the danger is when others start to accept it.
Those who try to reinvent truth and fall to their desires often need guidance. That guidance came from faith and family, upon which the pillar of Western society was built. This pillar is now being attacked, and people have been left to wander without a sense of purpose. Those who attack the pillar tell these people to delve into their own desires and thus become their own god. We as a society need to restore trust in the order that built our modern civilization: the need for faith, a mother, and a father in the home, and instilling a sense of community.
To save our society, we must return to the strong fundamental truths. We must preserve faith, normalize the nuclear family, and bring back a sense of community. The methods to save society are not from politics or bickering, but through a moral revival. We have the choice: awaken a moral revival, or continue to stumble into moral decay.
