President Donald J. Trump has gained support in the most recent Quinnipiac University poll. Trump extended his edge over Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis by eight points since a February poll.

In February, Trump led DeSantis 42-36. Last week Quinnipiac released its most recent results with Trump holding a 46-32 advantage.

Nikki Haley received five percent. None of the other declared or potential candidates received more than three percent.

In a head-to-head matchup, Trump beat DeSantis 51-40.

In a potential Trump-Biden rematch, Biden holds a 49-45 edge among all registered voters. Biden leads DeSantis 47-46.

Trump and DeSantis both received a favorable rating of 36 percent, but 58 percent view Trump unfavorably. Forty percent view DeSantis unfavorably, while 23 percent said they haven’t heard enough about the Florida Governor.
