Turning Point Action, the political arm of Turning Point USA, has endorsed Joe Mitchell for Congress in the Republican Primary for Iowa’s Second Congressional District. Mitchell was a longtime friend of the late and great Charlie Kirk.
“Charlie Kirk’s movement lives on through all of us and I am proud to take up his fight and have the support of Turning Point in the Republican primary,” said Mitchell. “We are building a movement to preserve the American dream and build on the America First policies of Donald Trump and his administration. The fight continues.”

He will make Charlie proud.”
Before running for Congress, Joe Mitchell worked alongside Charlie Kirk to start RunGenZ, an organization that still exists today. It recruits and trains hundreds of young conservative candidates for office from city council to school board.
Turning Point Action boasts one of the largest grassroots organizations in conservative politics, their support will help rally more support for Mitchell ahead of the GOP Primary on June 2nd.
