Mathew Swiatlowski is a visiting assistant professor in American Studies at the University of Iowa.

Professor in American Studies…who is unashamedly liberal.

Perhaps a highlight, Swiatlowski says while he supports prison abolition, he also really wants to see “the President and his family members behind bars.”

Swiatlowski retweeted this idea that “conservative economic ideology is, quite literally, going to get people killed and destroy the economy.”

He has also accused President Donald J. Trump of — you guessed it, being a racist.

According to this American Studies professor, Trump is a criminal.

And it is not just Trump who is a racist, it’s also workers who chose Trump. And they’re not just racist, they’re also sexist!

When President Trump announced he would create a national commission to push more “pro-American” history to combat “left-wing indoctrination” in schools, Swiatlowski said:

“Come at me bro.”

After more than 50,000 Christians worshiped together at the Lincoln Memorial, Swiatlowski said:

“Who had COVID 19 as the rapture, whisking 50,000 Christians off this earth, on their 2020 bingo card?”

Swiatlowski called for the government to give people money to keep them out of poverty more often. There’s a word for that…

He also claimed “white people are bad at masks.”

An interesting retweet notes that most anti-court packing arguments depend on “pretending not to notice a 40-year conservative effort to make the judiciary a permanent veto point for progressive lawmaking.”
