On Saturday, August 22, at 11 a.m. (local time), people will be showing up at local post offices across the country to save the post office from Donald Trump and declare that Postmaster General Louis DeJoy must resign.

The USPS is a lifeline for many Americans and especially during the COVID-19 crisis, millions rely on the Postal Service for everything from mail-in ballots to life-saving medications. That is why Congress must pass ample funding to preserve the USPS.

These rallies will be in front of Post Offices all over Iowa and the country. There are several locations that are planning events: Ankeny, Iowa City, Waterloo and LaPorte City all at 11:00 AM. Council Bluffs at 10:00 AM.  And more are being added.
