Iowa City Police made an arrest on Tuesday night after someone attacked the projector at a Turning Point USA event featuring Benny Johnson.
The event was about memes and Johnson displayed a meme of Vice President Kamala Harris. It showed Harris leaving her home saying “oh my God I love it!” as a mariachi singer danced in front of the bus and mariachi music played in the background. Texas Gov. Greg Abbott bused illegal immigrants from the border to the Vice President’s home in September.

Johnson released a statement on Twitter, saying the attack proves the Left “can’t meme.”
“During our presentation we played a harmless meme of Kamala Harris welcoming a bus full of migrants, set to tasteful mariachi music. That is when a low-T leftist strung-out on pure soy snapped into a violent rage. I watched dispassionately as the libs last drop of testosterone evaporated in an unprovoked kick-attack on an innocent projector. That projector’s crime? Playing memes. Thankfully, no one was hurt by the domestic terrorist attack other than an innocent Panasonic Projector. RIP.”
Johnson made the stop at his alma mater. About 50 people attended the meeting. There was also a group of about 10 protestors planning to attend the event to heckle.
