The Waterloo School District is celebrating “Inclusion Week” this week with various themes for each day.

On Monday, the theme was to “stand up for others” as students were encouraged to wear mismatched socks and shoes. On Tuesday, students were invited to wear pajamas as they are “dreamin’ of inclusion.”

Come Friday, students will be encouraged to “wear the rainbow” as a way to highlight everyone’s differences.

  1. For this reason many parents chose private or home school. When teaching becomes social indoctrination rather than focusing upon the fundamentals needed to be successful in life it’s time to take our money elsewhere.
