Wells Fargo notified employees it would be changing the COVID-19 testing program beginning in February. Currently, employees are required to use COVID-19 rapid tests twice each week and manually report their results.

However, beginning Feb. 7, those employees who are not fully vaccinated or did not record their vaccination status and are working in the office, branch location or meeting with clients in-person, the employees will stop using rapid tests and start completing PCR tests as part of the new Color Health Inc. COVID-19 testing program.

“With this new program, you will only be required to test once each week, and your test will be shipped to a lab for processing, which has a higher degree of accuracy for test results,” the email said. “You and Wells Fargo will be directly notified of your test results through Color’s secure application, and you won’t be required to take the extra step to report your results in the COVID-19 Testing Attestation Site.”
