Wells Fargo will proceed with its vaccination and testing policy despite the Supreme Court’s decision involving the OSHA mandate.
“Getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself and those you love,” said a message sent to employees. “I encourage each of you who can get vaccinated to do so, including receiving booster shots.”
Beginning Jan. 18, the company will encourage employees to enter their booster information into the vaccination documentation portal. Wells Fargo provides paid time off for employees to get the vaccine and recover from any side effects.
“Wells Fargo is not requiring vaccinations, except in limited circumstances where legally required,” the company said. “However, if you are not fully vaccinated, you are required to take part in the COVID-19 testing program, and you’ll receive information with details about testing requirements and timing.”
The company had sent the message prior to the Supreme Court’s decision being revealed.
“Wells Fargo will continue our testing program no matter the outcome of any legal challenges to the federal mandates,” it said. “We believe it is the right thing to do for the safety of all employees and our customers.”
Testing-Testing-Testing is not the same thing as Vaccinating. The railroad never forced anyone to smoke pot, they just tested to make sure that employees were safe & sober…
This is despicable. The company is ignoring natural immunity. They are also ignoring the fact that the vaccinated are infected with the most recent variant at a much higher rate than the vaccinated. This is obviously not driven by science. We are not cattle and they are not our ranchers. They have no right to pry into our private medical information. The Iowa legislature needs to step up and protect the freedom of the people from companies that choose to blackmail their employees into taking an under-tested medical procedure.
They have even changed “fully vaccinated” to include boosters. YOU WILL NEVER BE FULLY VACCINATED.
