The Iowa Standard has reached out to some of the sponsors listed on Capital City Pride’s website for this weekend’s festivities.

The events include a Drag Queen Story Hour and a Youth Drag Show.

Wells Fargo is listed as a Rainbow sponsor, which is the top tier of sponsors.

“Wells Fargo has been consistent and unwavering in supporting the LGBTQ+ community and has been a proud sponsor for over three decades of Capital City Pride’s PrideFest,” the company said. “At Wells Fargo, we’re deeply dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion — and that includes supporting organizations and non-profit partners in our communities.”

  1. We can blame irresponsible parents for exposing their children to deviant sexuality. Without their acquiesce the “show” would not go on.
