The West Des Moines School District announced it is no longer requiring masks due to the preliminary injunction being vacated, according to the district.

”However, masks will continue to be highly encouraged while indoors during school hours,” an email from the district said. “We are thankful for the flexibility, grace and understanding shown all year long by our students, families, staff and community. Whether you choose to wear a face mask or not, we will remain respectful and sensitive to everyone’s decision.”
