One’s success as a leader will depend on their resilience, empathy, transparency, integrity, and courage. Any leader worth their salt is asking how to support their fellow legislators, and especially their constituents, during these trying times. But where are Iowa’s House “Leaders” at? What are they doing to defend the rights of their constituents and in their leadership position – the rights of ALL Iowans?
The preeminent unalienable right, the right to life, is in jeopardy right now as Iowans are being forced by businesses and organizations to make a tough decision. Iowa leadership has been silent at best and evasive at worse when it comes to taking a clear stand on the vaccine mandate position. They are silent on what they are doing to protect Iowan’s right to life or their livelihood from employers mandating THE most dangerous Vaccine since the signing of the NCVIA of 1986, and some of us wonder if they even know what that means because they don’t talk about it so we don’t know. These “leaders” have failed to propose any solutions to stand up and defend the rights of Iowans despite the Oaths they swore when they took office.
Iowans: Remind them of their primary responsibility to uphold the rights of Iowans outlined in The Constitution of the State of Iowa & the Constitution of these United States. Because we won’t forget they remained silent when we needed them most. We won’t forget they put business rights (and the campaign dollars they represent) before the individual rights of “We the People.”
