U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) slammed the Biden administration and Democrats for their refusal to enforce law and order as crime is on the rise across the country. Ernst cited Democratic district attorneys in Los Angeles and New York who banned bail and released a list of crimes that would no longer be prosecuted, respectively.

Ernst called for support for law enforcement and criticized the ridiculous “defund the police movement.” Ernst said laws need to be enforced, and highlighted hernew effort to increase penalties for violent offenders and child predators to help keep folks safe and hold perpetrators accountable.
