Kari Lake, a Republican running for governor of Arizona, isn’t holding anything back when it comes to tangling with the “fake news” media. Lake’s campaign made a focused ad buy to run only during local news programming in the state. And there’s a reason for that.

The GOP frontrunner opens by introducing herself, and taking a jab at “fake news.”

“I’m Kari Lake, the Trump-endorsed candidate for governor,” she says. “If you’re watching this ad right now, it means you’re in the middle of watching a fake news program. You know how to know it’s fake? Because they won’t even cover the biggest story out there, the rigged election of 2020.”
