Wyoming State Rep. Chuck Gray announced he will be vying for Liz Cheney’s seat in the House of Representatives.

Cheney has been one of President Donald J. Trump’s biggest GOP critics in the House. Gray said it is “time for a leader who actually listens to the hard-working people of Wyoming, and not to the D.C. elitists.”

Cheney voted to impeach President Trump. Since then, many Republicans have called for her to have a primary opponent.

“Wyoming agrees with President Trump…it is time to get rid of Liz Cheney,” Gray said.
