President Donald Trump publicly endorsed David Young in Iowa’s Third Congressional District on Friday.
“David Young is a champion for Iowa,” Trump tweeted. “He helped us pass the Trump Tax Cuts and he will always fight for our small businesses, military, the Second Amendment and our great farmers! David has my complete and total endorsement!”
Young responded, saying he was honored to receive Trump’s endorsement.
“I look forward to being on the ticket with him and Sen. Joni Ernst this fall,” he said.
