State senator Zach Nunn, candidate for Iowa’s 3rdcongressional district and U.S. Air Force combat veteran, launches first ad buy of the campaign highlighting Nunn’s military service and efforts to evacuate American citizens left behind in Afghanistan.
“I’m proud to have served my nation in uniform, and I’m proud of our accomplishments in the Iowa Senate,” Nunn said, “but I’ve got a lot more fight left in me, and I’m ready to take that fight and record of service to Washington.”
Zach co-found and is Chairman of Task Force Argo, a group of private citizens working to evacuate Americans and Afghan allies stranded in Afghanistan.
“We intend to honor the commitment our country has made and will not rest until this objective is fulfilled.” To date, the group has successfully evacuated 2,663 Americans, their families, and approved Afghan allies.
All flights are sponsored by Task Force Argo’s generous donors making them free of charge for all Task Force Argo evacuees.
As part of a coalition of veterans, Task Force Argo has helped thousands of Americans flee Afghanistan who were trapped behind after the fall of the country.
