Concerned Iowa pastors put out a statement on Tuesday expressing concern with Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds’ new COVID-19 restrictions.

In addition, the group sent the press release to each state legislator. They received a few responses, including one from State Sen. Tony Bisignano (D-Des Moines).

Pastor Sam Jones simply wrote:

“Senator, we have put out this official statement and it is our desire that you will heed the counsel given in it.”

He then included the statement.

Bisignano wrote:

“You people are sicko’s.”

Pastor Jones countered that they have read the constitution and, if Bisignano would like, he’d be willing to send either or both of the United States Constitution or the Iowa Constitution.

“I understand the constitution,” Bisignano said in response. “Your freedoms are BS without life dummy. Put on a mask or you’re the problem.”

It is interesting that Bisignano is calling a group of Iowa pastors “sicko’s.” Five years ago Bisignano claimed his Facebook page was hacked when “YouPorn” (a pornographic website) was posted as a status update on his Facebook page at 2 a.m.

Bisignano told the Des Moines Register that he’s had it happen before where “people had hacked in and posted stuff there. This happened about a year ago, too. So I just need to reset the password. I don’t know how they do it. I am not smart enough to know how they do it.”
