A number of followers of The Iowa Standard have sent us this story:

City Officials Unaware Nearly 100 Migrant Children Transported Out of LGB Airport

In the story, it says an airport official witnessed and help facilitate the boarding of a flight on April 22. Children escorted by ICE agents on the tarmac.

“In the following footage we watch as migrant children board a flight believed to be to Des Moines, Iowa where they will most likely be held in another detention center in hopes of being reunited with their family,” the story says. “In our research, we found it is likely they are going to temporarily be held at the Polk County Jail to then be transferred to a privately, for-profit, run facility.”

The article continues that ICE and the HHS have not answered questions.

The story was written by Jade Delao and Daniel Drake.

The story is not dated, as far as I can tell. And it references a flight from April 22.

It is included in Long Beach Local News’ weekly Facebook video. And that includes more information.

According to the video report, they believe the flight was destined for Des Moines due to Flight Aware

We have reached out to different individuals regarding this story and will update you when more information is made available.
