Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) released the following video statement after completing her third round of visits to all 20 counties in Iowa’s First Congressional District.

“It’s official—I just wrapped up my third 20 county tour of IA-01! From visiting small businesses in Poweshiek, getting a first-hand look at laying fiber to expand broadband access out in Bremer County, meeting with law enforcement in Iowa County and veterans in Buchanan County, and hosting town halls in Allamakee, Worth, Mitchell, Tama, and Linn Counties—I’ve been on the road, collecting stories and feedback to bring back to Washington.

One thing is clear: Iowans are sick of the chaos and dysfunction in Washington. I’m laser focused on issues that matter to our district—expanding access to services for those in rural areas, making sure families are safe and secure, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are respected. It’s my honor to serve you in Washington and tell your stories in Congress.”
