As voters in the 3rd Congressional District, we have a very important choice to make on November 5th – one that could very well decide who controls Congress. In case you missed it, this race has been moved to a toss-up. That means this race is practically a coin flip, and we need to get out and VOTE!
I’ve done my research – as every voter should – and decided that I will be voting for Zach Nunn on November 5th – and let me tell you why. First of all, I want a representative that is willing to work with both Democrats and Republicans to get things done for us. Nunn has been ranked as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress. I also want someone that has grown up in Iowa and knows our values. Growing up on the Eastside of Des Moines, Congressman Nunn is a sixth-generation Iowan, father of six, and a combat veteran.
As a native Iowan, Nunn is bringing our values to Washington, DC. He believes in service over self – that’s why he wants to ban members of Congress from trading stocks, becoming lobbyists, and getting automatic pay raises. He also wants to end reckless government spending, secure our border, and bring down inflation. Now these are Iowa values – values that Lanon Baccam doesn’t get. Baccam, a Democrat political operative, has clearly spent too much time in DC. He is out-of-touch with Iowa and that’s why I’m voting for Zach Nunn and you should too.
