The non-profit Salute to the Fallen will be hosting its second annual “Salute to the Troops Black Tie Gala” on Saturday, Dec. 14 in Cedar Rapids. Tickets are $50 off right now, so individuals are encouraged to purchase tickets today!
“This event is a combination of celebrating all the service men and women, business owners and other members in the community that have stepped up and gone above and beyond,” Salute to the Fallen said in a letter. “The magnitude of the event allows us to highlight those around us who support our cause while shedding even more light on the ever-growing list of things service members endure.”
The event raised $22,000 last year to fulfill the organization’s mission of bringing awareness and financial assistance to multiple military and first responder causes.
