“Abuse of power for personal gain.”
The Democrats have decided to make that their first article of impeachment. They have fabricated the “abuse of power” based entirely on presumption and inference, and they have failed to produce any evidence of what the President personally gained.
The answer is simple: Absolutely nothing.
— Money? President Trump is not seeking money from his presidency. He does not even take a salary.
— Influence? President Trump has a 95 percent approval rating in the Republican Party, and his overall approval rating is higher than Obama’s at this term in his presidency.
— Power? President Trump, denying virtually all predictions by “experts,” has generated the greatest economy in over 50 years. He has all but eliminated unemployment. He has helped millions of Americans get off food stamps. He has helped the stock market achieve record highs on almost a weekly basis. He has brought much needed criminal justice reform. He has brought just under seven million new jobs to the country. He has negotiated invaluable trade deals with Canada, Mexico, Japan and even China. He sneaks out of Washington, D.C. and flies on a small, unmarked plane to spend Thanksgiving with the troops in Afghanistan.
If President Trump can achieve that — and more — while being directly targeted every single day by the media, multiple investigations and outright stonewalling by the Democrats at every turn, it’s quite obvious he has more than enough power to do his job.
So has abuse of power for personal gain occurred? Most certainly. By the Democrats. Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff, Maxine Waters and all the rest who run for political office believing it to be a lifetime right, and because of their lust for power. Look at how hard they work to put the rights of illegal aliens over American citizens. They know by doing so they are building their voting bloc. They perpetuate programs designed to keep minorities subjugated. Above all, they feel they have the power to erase the votes of 63 million Americans and remove President Trump simply out of hatred.
Americans should be pondering two facts:
- Both of the articles of impeachment named by the Democrats are entirely subjective in nature. Why?
- Neither article mentions a single prosecutable crime. So what exactly is the purpose of the impeachment?
