CNN reported that about 750 migrants have died this fiscal year at the southern border attempting to enter America. This record trumps last year’s total by more than 200 people, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

And there is still a month left in the fiscal year. Last year’s total of 557 deaths was the previous record.

NRCC spokeswoman Torunn Sinclair blames inaction on the part of President Joe Biden for the crisis at the southern border.

“There is a humanitarian crisis occurring at the U.S.-Mexico border and President Biden won’t secure the border to fix it and save lives,” Sinclair said.
