A woman called Kelisa Wing, who is an Army veteran and the current Diversity, Equity and Inclusion chief at the Department of Defense’s Education Activity, has a history of tweeting less than flattering things about white people.

Fox News first reported the tweets, which were quickly protected after the network asked Wing for comment.

In a June 2020 tweet, Wing wrote:

“I’m exhausted with these white folx in these [professional development] sessions. This lady actually had the CAUdacity to say that black people can be racist too…I had to stop the session and give Karen the BUSINESS…We are not the majority, we don’t have power.”

Wing also said:

“Being antiracist means being active against racism…you will NEVER arrive…stop centering this on whiteness.”

She also reportedly claimed in an article she had written that “racism is ingrained in the very fabric of our country.” She expressed a desire for teachers to dismantle “racial oppression.”

She co-authored a book called “What is White Privilege?” The book states:

“White privilege hurts a lot of people. If you are white you might feel bad about hurting others or you might feel afraid to lose this privilege. Overcoming white privilege is a job that must start with the white community.”

The Department of Defense was contacted seeking comment, but no response as immediately given, according to Fox News.
