An Iowa Democrat who came up short in her bid for the Iowa House in 2020 took to Twitter on Friday to criticize unvaccinated Iowans and Gov. Kim Reynolds.

“We are in the midst of another pandemic – a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” she wrote. “Those who WON’T but also those who CAN’T. And in the midst of that, Gov. Kim Reynolds is planning to send children into classrooms without the one tool that could save their lives. Why? POLITICS. #ThatsKim.”

She followed that with this:

“Some days I literally can’t stop thinking about this. Adults are supposed to make and force rules to keep kids safe. That’s our JOB. Governor Kim Reynolds has made it illegal for school boards to do their jobs. I would call it unbelievable if it weren’t so absolutely on brand. #KimsGottaGo.”

I just want to repeat Pellant, so please bear with me:

“Adults are supposed to make and force rules to keep kids safe.”

Her words, not mine.

But, but, but…eight hours later, check out what Pellant posted:

“Abortion IS health care and you are not a doctor. Stay in your lane, #phonyjoni. #HydeKillsWomen.”

It took Pellant eight hours to go from adults are supposed to make and force rules to keep kids safe to killing unborn kids is health care.

Hopefully, someday she realizes just how incredibly hypocritical it all is.
