Ahead of Wednesday’s vote to certify the Electoral College results, Republican Senators had strong support from GOP voters to challenge the 2020 Presidential Election.
A Rasmussen Reports phone and online survey found 55 percent of likely U.S. voters believe Biden won fairly, but 69 percent of Republicans disagree.
In fact, 73 percent of Republican voters supported the Senate effort to challenge Biden’s election. Only 22 percent of Republicans opposed the challenge.
Of interest, voters under 40 are significantly more likely to agree Biden won fairly while older voters are nearly evenly divided.
