The Iowa Department of Public Safety has filed a bill for the 2025 legislative session regarding anyone who commits the offense of grooming.
This bill would require anyone convicted of the criminal offense of grooming to register as a Tier I sex offender. Grooming is a Class D felony.
The Iowa Legislative session starts on Monday, Jan. 13.
