Another scorecard of legislative votes from Iowa’s congressional delegation shows just how disappointing the all-Republican delegation is.

The Institute for Legislative Analysis has a mission of advancing limited government principles of the Constitution by increasing transparency within Congress and the 50 state legislatures.

Republican Senator Chuck Grassley has the highest score of any member of the Iowa delegation at 76.79 percent. Sen. Joni Ernst is second among Hawkeye State representatives at 75.85 percent.

Congressperson Randy Feenstra “leads” the House members from Iowa at 68.80 percent despite representing a deep red conservative district.

*Sen. Chuck Grassley: 76.79 percent. Grassley’s worst categories were tax and fiscal (48.69 percent), local and national security (77.08 percent) and law and scope of government (81.67 percent). Grassley is tied for 127th overall.

*Sen. Joni Ernst: 75.00 percent. Ernst’s worst categories were tax and fiscal (60.15 percent), law and scope of government (73.33 percent) and local and national security (77.08 percent). Ernst is tied for 142nd overall.

*Congressperson Randy Feenstra: 68.80 percent. Feenstra’s worst categories were tax and fiscal (50.21 percent), workforce and labor (58.33 percent) and energy and environment (73.86 percent). Feenstra is tied for 186th overall.

*Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks: 62.81 percent. Miller-Meeks’ worst categories were workforce and labor (25 percent), tax and fiscal (29.28 percent) and healthcare (50 percent). Miller-Meeks is 222nd overall.

*Congresswoman Ashley Hinson: 62.70 percent. Hinson’s worst categories were tax and fiscal (27.08 percent), workforce and labor (66.67 percent) and energy and environment (73.86 percent). Hinson is 223rd overall.

*Congressman Zach Nunn: 59.68 percent. Nunn’s worst categories were workforce and labor (0 percent), tax and fiscal (15 percent) and education (57.10 percent). Nunn is 236th overall.

Four members of Congress received perfect scores of 100 percent:

*Congressman Chip Roy
*Congressman Bob Good
*Sen. Mike Lee

Sixty-three members of Congress received 90.16 percent or higher.
