Dear Majority Leaders of the 90th Iowa General Assembly,
I will take a guess here and assume every one of you are disgusted by what is happening on our southern border, especially with regard to human trafficking, as am I. Also, I am willing to assume you feel the same as I do that the appalling carnage – rape, murder, assault, etc. – from crime being heaped upon Americans by the Biden Administration as illegal aliens are loosed on our streets is an assault on our American values. Indeed some organizations have called for victims to sue the federal government because the Biden Administration willingly ignores to fulfill a very basic part of its job – protecting the American people.
What will it take for you, the Iowa legislature, to protect the American citizens within our very own border? By YOUR consent to allow gender identity to remain a protected class, you are inviting the very crimes that are occurring at our border and elsewhere to be committed in restrooms and changing rooms in Iowa by people who may have nefarious motives. These crimes are fully preventable, yet you are putting our women and girls at risk to appease what amounts to 1% of the US population. This is absolutely ludicrous!
Are we waiting to be propelled to act once a grave crime against our women and girls and/or children has occurred before we put a stop to the nonsense of allowing men and boys access to private areas reserved for women and girls? How much physical and mental pain and trauma from attacks are you willing to ignore as you fail to fulfill a very basic part of your job?! Why are men who are charged with protecting women and children standing idle?!
This needs to stop. Now. It is time to undo damage done by Democrats to the right of privacy and safety for every woman and girl in Iowa! Remove protected class status for gender identity before you have a huge mess on YOUR hands!
