Doug Campbell of Mason City announced today that he will be running for State Representative in Iowa’s 59th District.

Doug Campbell is a retired Walgreens pharmacist and entrepreneur and has previously served the citizens of  Mason City as a member of the Mason City School Board from 2015-2019.

“I am honored to announce my candidacy for the Republican nomination for State Representative District 59, “ said Campbell. “ Strong Leadership is crucial in these difficult times. I will represent the people of District 59 with the same tenacity and energy that characterized my tenure on the Mason City School Board.“

Campbell has first-hand experience and direct access to how the economics of state government has affected local Iowa cities and towns. “I have been involved in politics since 1986 and have many friends and colleagues that are actively serving at the local and state level.”
