Sixty-five percent of likely U.S. voters believe wider use of mail-in voting will result in more cheating. A new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey shows 51 percent say it is very likely to result in more cheating.

Only 28 percent of likely voters do not believe more mail-in voting will result in more cheating, with 14 percent saying it is not at all likely.

The poll also shows 56 percent of voters believe it is likely cheating affected the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Forty-one percent said it is very likely. Just 39 percent do not believe it is likely the election was affected by cheating.

In fact, the number of voters who believe President Joe Biden’s victory is tainted by cheating has increased since April.

Eighty-four percent of Republicans believe it is at least somewhat likely cheating impacted the outcome of the 2020 presidential election. Fifty-four percent of unaffiliated voters agree, as do 32 percent of Democrats.
