During an interview with ABC News, Rep. Ilhan Omar revealed her perspective on Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden, stating “There’s obviously parts of what she said that’s been corroborated.” Omar’s remarks come on the heels of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stating that Reade’s allegation “certainly seems as though something has happened.”
This begs the question: If Omar and AOC can believe Tara Reade, why can’t Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer? As their peers in the Democrat party finally speak out in the face of credible evidence, how can they still remain silent?
Furthermore, what happened to Biden’s “[…] if [voters] believe Tara Reade, they probably shouldn’t vote for me?” Why won’t Democrats take him at his word?
Bottom Line: If an extreme, partisan liberal like Rep. Omar can believe and speak up on the sexual assault allegations against Joe Biden, why can’t Cindy Axne and Abby Finkenauer? Axne and Finkenauer owe Iowans their truthful take on the situation, along with whether or not they still supports their party’s presumptive nominee.
