No amount of spin or questioning the “integrity” of the caucus process from the Biden camp can change the fact that despite having Iowa basically to himself for weeks while Nancy Pelosi kept Sanders and Warren in D.C., Iowans still said no to Joe Biden.

Almost 24 hours after the caucus results should have been released and with 62% of the results in, Biden sitting in fourth place is a major blow to Biden’s campaign who promised over and over again he’d win in Iowa.

• October 23, 2019: “I plan on winning Iowa. I’m working like hell to win Iowa.”
• November 1, 2019: “I think I will win here [in Iowa].”
• November 1, 2019: “It all starts in Iowa on February the third. And together, we’re going to win Iowa.”

• November 2, 2019: “I plan on winning Iowa.”
• November 11, 2019: “I plan on winning in Iowa.”
• February 3, 2020: Jill Biden: “We’re going to win the Iowa Caucuses.”

Failure to win in Iowa is a theme for Biden’s presidential runs.

Biden’s 1988 run failed even before Iowa due to a plagiarism scandal and in 2008, Biden dropped out after a “very poor” showing in Iowa.

Bottom Line: Iowans rejected Biden’s career of quid pro quo and corruption.  While it’s becoming evident that Joe Biden lost Iowa, the real losers of Iowa are Biden’s family members who are soon to realize that the gravy train could be coming to an end.
