A display set up by the Satanic Temple of Iowa last year inside the Iowa Capitol created a controversy. It culminated with a person called Michael Cassidy driving to Iowa from Mississippi to destroy the display set up by the group.
Last month The Satanic Temple of Iowa shared a few posts to Facebook marking the one-year anniversary as a date the group appears to plan to commemorate at the Capitol.
The post teases family-friendly fun and holiday joy.
The group has also been promoting its “After School Satan Club” offered at Jane Addams Elementary School in Moline, Illinois.
According to the group, the Quad Cities is home to the world’s longest-running after-school Satan club.
