Senate File 2101 was proposed by Sen. Jim Carlin. It’s an act requiring school districts and nonpublic schools to display a portion of the preamble of the Declaration of Independence in their schools.
The bill requires every public school board and the authorities in charge of each accredited nonpublic school to cause every school to display the first sentence of the preamble of the Declaration of Independence.
