Iowa State Sen. Craig Johnson shared his reflections on conservative radio icon Rush Limbaugh:

“I remember the first time listening to Rush. I was with my boss on a joint sales call and it was dead of winter 1995. We were driving to Fargo on I-94. My boss kept a list of radio stations that carried Rusha long with the times the show ran. I remember we caught the tail end of the show coming out of Minneapolis, then some time down the road closer to Fargo we lost the Minneapolis station but picked up the first part of the show from the Fargo station. That’s the way it was back then…catch what you can, when you can.

“Anyway, I listened to Rush for many years and I know he helped form many of the thoughts and beliefs I have today. He will be missed.”
