Texas church has closet including binders to keep parents uninformed

A video taken by Tayler Hansen purportedly from a “transparency closet” in Katy, Texas at First Christian Chruch shows chest binders, underwear and bras.

“The closet is set up in a way that is designed to keep parents uninformed,” Hansen wrote. “I was removed by Katy Police (Security) after the pastor saw my phone.”

The video shows Hansen going into the area as it is explained by a church worker.

Individuals set up a time via Facebook or there’s time that the closet is always open and the church leaves them alone.

“This has all the bras and stuff,” the worker said. “We’re trying to get more binders and things like that because we can’t get those used, we can’t get underwear used, because it’s gross.”

The church workers compliment the idea of using “Home Goods” bags.

“It’s like, ‘I went shopping. I went to Home Goods,'” they said. “And no one, because, we got a lot of teens, and families aren’t supporting.”
