Planned Parenthood performed 332,757 abortions last year, according to its 2017-18 annual report. That averages out to about 38 babies killed every hour. That is 911 abortions every day.
It’s an increase from the previous year by more than 11,000 unborn babies who met their demise.
Meanwhile, contraceptive, cancer screenings and other women’s health services were all down compared to the previous year’s report.
Planned Parenthood leadership included “safe and legal abortion” as part of its care. The word “rare” was nowhere to be found.
“Planned Parenthood’s annual report reveals that its mission is aborting innocent babies,” said Mat Staver, founder and chairman of Liberty Counsel. “Abortion is not healthcare. It is the intentional act of killing a human being. This is human genocide for profit.”
The report shows Planned Parenthood hauled in $563.8 million in government funding.
Planned Parenthood has a chat/text program. A 17-year-old female sent a message last year stating:
“It’s good to know u guys are here like a second mom or fun aunt u can ask these questions to without worrying about punishment or shame.”
Naomi Aberly, the chair of the board for Planned Parenthood Federation of America, concluded her portion of the report by stating:
“There are battles ahead. But Planned Parenthood and our 12 million supporters will never stop tearing down the barriers to care for the people we serve. We will continue building a world where all people have access to care. No matter what.”
Dr. Leana Wen, the president of Planned Parenthood, said the organization plans to go on the offensive.
“We’ve got fundamental truth on our side: that your body is your own. If it’s not, you cannot be truly free or equal.”
