137 days out from election day, Joe Biden’s campaign is “notably behind” Team Trump: They have no senior staff in key states.

Bloomberg News reports Biden’s campaign has just ONE state director.

That means the Biden campaign has no senior staff in Iowa or other key states like Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Florida, Ohio, Georgia, New Hampshire, Colorado, Nevada, Minnesota, or North Carolina to name a few.

No wonder Democrats are worrying about the “leadership vacuum” the Biden campaign created across the country.

Biden’s campaign lack of staffing speaks to a systemic problem with his campaign: Their failure to engage with key communities. Biden’s campaign has recently come under fire for failing to engage with progressivesLatinos, and black voters.

Meanwhile, President Trump and the RNC have been on the ground since 2016 – with state directors in 17 states and more than 1,100 field staff. In Iowa, our field team has already made more than one million voters contacts for the cycle and have held more than 1,100 events in-state.

Bottom Line: No amount of last minute investment or parachuting staff into Iowa 19 weeks out from election day by Biden and the DNC will make up for the years’ worth of relationships Team Trump has developed in Iowa and across the country.
