Democrat State Rep. Karin Derry, who lost her re-election bid in 2020, posted a picture on Twitter on Wednesday featuring workers at the Iowa Capitol without masks.

“Disappointed to see workers without masks at the Capitol today,” Derry tweeted. “Gov. Kim Reynolds, leadership matters. Please ensure that all Capitol workers — including vendors — ‘do the right thing’ and wear facemasks to protect all Capitol visitors and employees.”

Derry served one term in the Iowa House. She lost her re-election bid to Republican Eddie Andrews.
