Wells Fargo employees have less than two weeks to let the company know their vaccination status. That is according to a few employees who have reached out to The Iowa Standard.

An email sent to some employees on Tuesday said a questionnaire must be answered by Dec. 4. The question asked is if they are vaccinated. Those who are vaccinated must provide proof. Those who are not acknowledge they’re subject to proof of a negative test on a weekly basis to remain employed.

Two weeks ago an employee received a message from the company stating only vaccinated employees are allowed to travel on Wells Fargo business. Proof of vaccination status is required. Employees who have been working remotely will be able to return to the office — so long as they provide proof of vaccination before the mandatory back-to-office date for their respective department.

Wells Fargo is said to start implementing back-to-the-office mandates for all employees on a department-by-department schedule starting on Jan. 10.

One employee told The Iowa Standard they refuse to be treated as if they are sick and that weekly negative test requirements ensure employees are treated as if they’re guilty of spreading COVID until they’re proven innocent.
