Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said on Tuesday she has received the most criticism for her willingness to speak out against the radical LGBTQ agenda. She said she is attacked “all the time” for speaking out against the “gender issue” and the attacks come from what she calls “trans terrorists.”
“I truly believe they are terrorists,” she said. “I don’t really want to judge or even know what people do sexually with two consenting adults because I don’t believe that’s my business and I don’t really want to talk about that and I don’t think that’s anyone’s identity.”
But, she added, there is a “gigantic push” of this agenda on American children.
“That there’s more than two genders, they want to create the lie that you can choose your gender and you can change your gender,” she said. “This is such an attack on children.”
Greene said if children pursue the changes, or parents do — which she called “child abuse,” what they’re actually doing is mutilating their bodies through surgery.
“And they’re given hormone medication that alters their health for the rest of their life,” she said. “It makes them sterile, hurts bone health and so many other problems. And every adult knows that a child — what they think at 4 years old or 11 years old or even 16 or 18 years old is not what they’ll think and feel when they’re 20, 25, 35 or more. This gigantic pressure and lie that we push on our nation’s children is so, so concerning to all of us.”
Greene described drag queen story hour and drag shows in schools as “trans strippers.”
“That’s what they are,” she said. “We would never allow a stripper in schools and let them do shows or story time in a library or park. Yet now Democrats are calling it a hate crime if you speak out against this. It is such an abomination. It’s completely evil. And this is a place I’ve taken a hard stand.”
Greene said the fundamental truth is God created us male and female.
