We won the election. It was a mandate. The election battle is over, but the culture war is still far from being won.
Tuesday was like storming Normandy on D-Day. We secured the beach. But now it’s time to move the army inland all the way to Berlin. There will be battles along the way. We have the Battle of the Bulge. We have to cross the Rhine. There will be many minor skirmishes. Some in the opposition will surrender seeing the futility of their cause. Others will fight to the bitter end.
In Iowa the talk by the GOP leadership is more fiscal manicuring; the usual tax reform and property taxes to be tackled in the first session of the next General Assembly. That’s fine but let’s not neglect our social problems. While the election was partially about economics, the other part was a repudiation of Barry Obama’s Woke agenda of transgenderism and pronouns.
If we ignore saving our minor children from the evils of transgenderism, the future of farming or any other business will not matter if an entire generation’s mind has been poisoned and braindead. All our good intentions now will not make a difference.
The Democrat Party of Iowa has no power to save any of Hussein’s agenda. The GOP wasn’t elected to offer concessions either. Leave compassion for the churches. But for the front line political warriors, let’s end these bad societal policies. Elections have consequences. Let’s make it so.
Let’s identify where the disease of wokeism operates and eradicate it from Iowa culture – no compromises!
1) Removal of Gender Identity and Sexual Orientation from the Iowa Civil Rights Code. I have written about this and the following subjects many times before: LETTER: Gender identity plague foisted on Iowa children is unacceptable – The Iowa Standard
2) Elimination of all DEI programs and propaganda from ALL Iowa education systems K-college: LETTER: DEI educational proponent used to proselyte new converts into gender identity. movement – The Iowa Standard
3) Sever the American Library Association’s influence from the Iowa Library Board and Iowa libraries: LETTER: Spirit of American Library Association clearly operates in diametric opposition to biblical values – The Iowa Standard
4) Make reasonable and applicable penalties for violating laws enacted to protect minor Iowa children and prosecute violators. No law is serious without consequences.
The wallet and purse is important to the family household. But I’m just saying social safeguards are seriously needed to protect YOUR children from a clear and present danger operating in schools and libraries. This is further made possible under a flawed civil rights code.
The only way to turn this back is to actively engage with it to its end. That is why we elected Republicans. That is how Donald Trump became president again after numerous attempts to end him. President Trump will manage these things at the federal level, but it is our responsibility as Iowans to manage the social disease at the state level.
Our state has never been so divided until the Woke agenda was introduced in 2007. The path back to normalcy is the end of Wokeism. Let’s not forget the women and children.
