On Wednesday, President Donald J. Trump signed an executive order keeping men out of women’s sports — making good on his promise to protect American women and girls and defend fairness and safety in women’s sports.

Despite attempts by some to peddle a false claim that biological sex can somehow be changed, President Trump’s policy is overwhelmingly popular with the American people. In fact, more than two-thirds of Americans believe individuals should only be allowed to play on sports team that match their “birth gender.”

Wednesday’s executive order builds on the steps President Trump has already taken to return the country to common sense: declaring there are only two sexesrecognizing the biological distinctions between men and women, and protecting children from chemical and surgical mutilation.

Promises made, promises kept.
