Democrat State Rep. Amy Nielsen had a message for Iowans on Tuesday:

“We’re killing each other.”

Nielsen tweeted:

“I could highlight different passages of this article all day. Bottom line, we’re killing each other Iowa. Whether it’s the Gov making terrible decisions, the media not holding her accountable or you refusing to wear a mask, Iowans are dying. It’s not going to end soon.”

For the record, the Iowa media has been all over Gov. Reynolds for not telling grown Iowans what to do. I was at a press conference with Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and Gov. Kim Reynolds.

Azar is essentially the guy overseeing vaccine development for COVID-19 and therapeutic to treat the virus.

He took time to visit the Hawkeye State and give an update on how Iowa is playing a role in the process and where the country is on the vaccine path.

I think the Iowa media asked him one — maybe two — questions.

Nearly all of the questions were asked of Gov. Reynolds, including one that was trying to get to the bottom why she took her mask off the night before during President Trump’s rally at the Des Moines Airport. Perhaps she was taking a drink of water, the “reporter” pondered.

As for wearing a mask, I am not convinced masks stop the spread of COVID. Sen. Charles Grassley tested positive for COVID yesterday. Sen. Grassley has worn a mask in public for months it appears. I’ve also heard of studies showing that 70 percent of people with COVID say they are habitual wearers of masks.

If you’re wondering, Nielsen is a big supporter of abortion.

So, who is killing who, exactly?
