Americans largely not excited for Valentine’s Day

Just 36 percent of American adults are looking forward to Valentine’s Day. That is according to a new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey.

Twenty-four percent of Americans say they dread Valentine’s Day while 40 percent are not sure.

Rasmussen Reports found that eight percent consider Valentine’s Day one of the country’s most important holidays. Fifty-three percent believe it is one of the least important.

Women are more likely to look forward to Valentine’s Day while men are more likely to dread it.
